digiKidz™ 2011

Hi parents and digiKidz™ campers,

After 4 very successful years of serving the Oakville and surrounding communities, digiKidz continues with its quality technology programming for the summer of 2011.

The 2011 summer season will run for 6 weeks: commencing July 11th - August 19th. Each session runs for a week. This year, programs are offered to 2 age groups, allowing the programs to reach a larger range of children. Weekly 1/2 day sessions are suitable for kids 10-14 years and JUNIOR CAMPS are suitable for kids 7-9 years. NOTE : All Junior camps are full days only (9-4 p.m.).

The following sessions are 5 days and are either morning or afternoon (see the schedule below) : Digital Film, Stop-Motion Animation, LEGO Robotics and Flash Animation, Advanced LEGO Robotics, and Advanced Flash Animation.

The cost of each of these 1/2 day weekly sessions is $215 (including HST). The cost of 2 sessions (equal to a full day) is $335 ( including HST). Choose one or many sessions: family discounts* apply again this summer for parents who register for more than one session before June 1st. (* email for details)
NOTE: If you choose full days, we provide no-cost supervision between the morning and afternoon sessions (noon - 1 p.m. lunchtime).

Junior Robotics, (week 1), Junior Digital Experience ( weeks 2 and 6) & Advanced Digital Experience are weekly, full day sessions from 9-4 p.m. NOTE: Week 4: Digital Film, Stop Motion Animation and LEGO Robotics: August 2-5th is 4 days only : 1/2 day session is $180 and FULL DAY is $280

Enrollment is now open, but book early as spaces are limited. digiKidz™ 2011 has reduced class sizes to ensure delivery of quality programming and provide support from experienced camp counsellors.

All sessions are held at Sheridan College, SCAET Building, Oakville.
